Frequently Asked Questions
We are located at 140-890 Harbourside Dr.
We operate and rent space out of Level 10 Fitness & Health.
There is free parking in the lot and 4-hour parking on the street.
If you are coming in for a massage appointment, there is a separate entrance to Kevin's office within the building. Just look for Unit door 125.
This depends on your primary complaint, when it happened, how it happened, your lifestyle, your recovery strategies, and everything in between.
During the first session, we'll take a detailed health history and collaborate on a treatment plan.
On average, we typically suggest 2 or 3 weekly treatments at 1x/week then we can taper off and take more time in between massage treatments. Ideally, we recommend massage therapy sessions at once every 3 or 4 weeks for maintenance!
The first session will be a full, comprehensive assessment. We'll chat all about your training and injury history, take some body measurements, measure some vital signs, take you though a few movement screens, and some sub-maximal testing. From there, we'll collaborate on a training plan tailored to you!
Massage therapy has many benefits as well as risks.
During your first treatment, if you're a new patient, there will be a longer history intake along with assessments before the massage. This means you will not receive a full 60 minutes of hands-on time.
However, in subsequent treatments, the intake and/or assessment will be less time!
We require AT LEAST 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a session. Otherwise all other cancellations inside the 24-hour window will count against you, and a deduction will occur from your training package, or in the case of late cancelling a massage appointment, you will be fully responsible for the outstanding balance.
Of course, life happens and gets in the way, so we will use our discretion accordingly.
You can easily cancel your session in your Jane client account (as long as you do this before the 24hour cancellation period).
In case of emergency, please text either Kevin (604-626-5502) or Nicole (604-842-8176) to let us know of your cancellation.
This depends on the person and on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to: age, gender, training age, training frequency, patience, diet, sleep, stress, etc.
On average, you will see neuromuscular gains within 2-4 weeks and physical gains in about 6-8 weeks.
Through the three E's (Educate, Empower, Excite) we hope to be able to shift your mindset to focusing on your "why" and on the journey, rather than the destination in order to achieve long-term success.
We generally recommend clients work with us for a MINIMUM of 8 weeks to see some results.
We would like to answer this in two parts.
First, by showing a certain quote we learned from another professional:
"Paying for 'health' seems absurd to many until it's taken from you... then suddenly no amount of money is too much to get back to where you were. You might as well invest in becoming Superman, rather than waiting to drain your bank account trying to get back to Clark Kent."
Secondly, we can't give a concrete answer because it truly depends on a lot of things! We won't lie to you, hiring a coach to work with you 1-on-1 is an investment and future you will thank you later.
We can give you a better idea of the cost after we chat about your history and your goals. We want to help you improve your quality of life WHILE achieving these goals so send us a message here (javascript:void(0))so we can get started!
We use Jane as our booking, scheduling, and billing software.
Upon making your profile as a new client, you will be asked to input a credit card in your Jane client profile and that's how we will charge sessions.
Inputting your credit card reserves your spot and it also protects both of us from late cancellations and no shows. The spot is reserved just for you.
No problem! Email us here (info@nextlevelkinetics.ca)or give us a call here!(tel:+1-604-6265502) :)
